We hit the road again this past weekend. Back to the South! But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Last week after playing Knoxville, we traveled to Nashville to play at On the Rocks. We want to thank everyone who came out to see us. Especially John and Lindsay. You made us nervous but we were thrilled to meet you! Hopefully we will be back in Nashville soon . . .
Then this weekend. We played at the Spot on Saturday night in Charlotte, South Carolina. Thanks to Josh White and his roommate for putting us up for the night. Oh, and get your AC fixed. NOW. No just kidding. Our house is hot too. Sunday we didn’t have to be at Presbyterian College until 6:30, so we just hung around Charlotte for awhile. Ate at IHOP. I had the Big Three breakfast meal and put different kinds of syrup on each pancake.
Inklings was awesome, just like last time. We appreciate everyone who made it out despite the monsoon-caliber rainstorm that came through around 7:30. We look forward to coming back soon!

In other Shapiro-related news, Joel Lehman is moving back to Lancaster. I am very sad. He was a great housemate. We are excited, though, because Carl Shapiro is moving in with Jeremy, Nathan, and me! Finally, Shapiro all living under one roof.
Actually this move may cause our breakup as a group simply because of what is commonly known as “overexposure to fellow band member” syndrome.

haha. i like your blog, quite intertaining! and you haven't posted about bloc party yet... you guys were amazing. you are so talented and entertaining! you make me laugh because you smile the whole time!
